Worked for a construction firm that bought, restored and sold high-end homes in the city. 

Responsibilities were all  finish details and finishes.

1986 - 1988

Mark Reed Antique Restoration.

Bordentown, NJ.

Apprenticed in antique restoration. Learnt traditional methods of restoration work including furniture construction and reconstruction, veneer repair, gold leafing, upholstery and finishing.

Assisted in restoration of 17th Century Cottage.

Assisted Mark Reed in the restoration of a 17th Century carpenter's cottage,stripping the cottage to its framework and rebuilding it from the ground up using historically accurate techniques and materials.
